Examining + Debunking "Orb" Photos
Photos depicting "orbs" have become increasingly common and popular. They seem to have become a major talking point and commonly used as "evidence" of hauntings. While it is important to note that SOME photos featuring orbs may be legitimate, it is clear that the preponderance of these images are in fact, able to be logically explained and are not connected to anything paranormal.
It is also crucial to note that orbs didnt start showing up so frequently until the popularization of digital cameras, specifically in paranormal research. Because of the way light reflects and the way the cameras flash feature works, it is very common for dust, pollen, dirt and bugs to appear to glow or become transparent when they show up on camera. The things listed above are almost always the cause of "orbs."
To drive this point even further, Id like to refer to a section of an article, superbly written by Troy Taylor:
>"With three other researchers, I went out to a cemetery that we picked at random on a warm summer night and took several rolls of film. We had no readings, stories, or reports to justify the decision, but we took the photos anyway. After having them developed,we discovered a number of the photos were filled with semi-transparent "orbs".
On a hunch, we then went to a nearby football field that was roughly the same size as the cemetery we had already visited. We walked around for a few minutes and again shot a few rolls of film. I was unfortunately not surprised to find that these photos were also filled with orbs. Was the football field haunted? Of course not!
What we did was walk around both areas and stir up dust and pollen from the grass. When we took the photos, these particles in the air caught the reflection of the camera flash and appeared to be "orbs." We also discovered that such photos could be taken after walking or driving on a dusty road. The dust particles would reflect the light, just as moisture can do, and make it seem as though the air was filled with "orbs"."<
( Taylor, Troy. "Orbs Debunked!" Orbs Debunked! N.p., 2008. Web. 21 Aug. 2016. )
> What to look for in a more authentic orb photo:
1. Bright orbs are more likely to be authentic
2. Faded orbs are less authentic (most likely dust)
3. Multiple orbs are usually because of dust or bugs
4. Orbs that are bright / seem to be vibrating are more authentic
5. Slight trails / tails at end of orbs are more authentic
Taking photos in a paranormal investigation are best done without digital cameras and BEST done WITH, a 35mm camera. These are far less likely to pick up "dust motes." <
(Eaton, James W. "The Truth about Orbs!" The Truth about Orbs! N.p., 2001. Web. 21 Aug. 2016.)
Because of the amount of exposure that "orbs" have gotten, unfortunately, many people are misinformed and think every particle picked up on their cameras is a spirit. Remember to stay open minded, keep a logical eye and always try to debunk before you shout spirit!

Origins + Misconceptions/Debunking of "Witchcraft" ( Part 1 )
I have come to the realization that people of today have an extremely delusional and misinformation view and practice of Witchcraft, Wicca and Paganism. Too many people, mostly young females are obsessed with the practice of spell casting. They have convinced themselves that they can cast spells on others for personal gain or harm people through spell casting. This practice is simply false. Can you effect someone by deflecting your intentions and energy onto them? Yes, in many cases. However, you CANNOT chant some words and put together a "potion" and alter someones feelings or behavior.
Now, to get into the REAL origins of "Witchcraft". The word itself comes from a bastardization of the term/practice "Craft Of The Wise." People of today confuse Wicca with Witchcraft, when in fact, these two things are NOT synonymous. Wicca, was introduced through the theories and nonsensical thinking of Anthropologist and Egyptologist Margaret Murray in the early 1920s. Her works feature out of context quotes from witch trials and deceptive representation of REAL, "old world" practices. Murray's claims have ZERO evidence to back it up. She often claimed evidence to depict things that they did not. Her irresponsible choices and works have birthed a modern generation of delusional, misinformed individuals who are practicing a religion that never existed.
Her claims are much more akin to New Age Mysticism, which has also proven to be false. Below, is a short list of things and practices that are falsified and NOT connected to original practices.
1. Cauldrons
2. Robes
3. Wands
4. Magic
5. Pointy Hats
6. Altars
7. Daggers
8. Stars / Pentagrams
9. Spell Casting
10."Potions"
Original practitioners of the Wise Craft were regarded as healers, intellectuals and more comparable to Shamans. They understood and had a deep connection with nature and animals. Common practices of said individuals included:
1. Math
2. Science
3. Holistic Healing
4. Questioned/ Challenged the Christian and Catholic Churches
5. Logic + Thinking for yourself
6. Deep, concentrated prayer or meditations (mistaken for spells)
7. Natural / Holistic Medicine (mistaken for potions)
Breakdown:
Wicca = Neo-Pagan / Centered around the elements
Wicca = Belief in karma ---> "As it harm none, do as thou wilt" ---> Harm No One / Harm no living being
Witch --> (Old English) --> Wicca --> (Germanic Root) Wic --> Means to bend or turn.

Aporting - Defining The Phenomenon and My Personal Experience With It
Aport(ing)- When an object disappears, or appears out of thin air. Only to reappear in a random location at a later date.
Many people have had unexplained experiences with aports. They often cannot come up with a plausible explanation for why their items are disappearing and reappearing out of seemingly thin air. Some of the most common examples of items being taken are keys, wallets, phones, chargers, etc.
Below, I will share my personal experiences with aports.
1. One night my Dad, myself and my younger sister were opening some boxes and he had set his wallet down next to him. As we started to clean up the mess, we noticed his wallet had disappeared. Naturally we figured it mustve gotten scooped up in a trash bag or the rubble of the boxes. We searched and searched, tearing the house apart and upside down trying to find it. We even sifted through the trash, but no luck. As we all came back to gather in the living room, my dads wallet was sitting right in the middle of the living room floor, about 4-5 feet away from where he had originally placed it.
2. Another instance involving my Dad, is when he set his phone down on the living room side table above his drawer where he kept his keys, wallet and work stuff. He left the phone there while we did stuff around the house, he comes back into the living room and asked where his phone went. I had no idea, as the last time I saw it, it was right where he left it. Again, we flipped the house upside down. My Dad checked his work drawer TWICE, with no sight of the phone. As we began to give up, he checked his drawer one more time and as he opened the drawer, his cell phone was standing upright inside.
3. One day I came home from school and placed my bag down in front of my closet as usual. I was called into the kitchen so I met with my parents there for no more than 5 minutes. As I walk back down to short hallway that connected to the kitchen, I noticed that my hair dryer, lotions and hair products were laid in the middle of the floor in a perfect circle.
4. Another occurrence similar to the one that happened with my hair dryer, is when my family and I were sitting in the living room and we heard three loud clangs come from the kitchen. We walked in and three plastic cups were slowly spinning in a circle on the kitchen floor.
5. The last one I remember distinctly is when I went to reach in my back pocket for my chapstick, and it was no longer there. I searched the whole house and had no luck. Weeks later I go to do my laundry, and I pick up the same pair of jeans I was wearing the day it went missing. As Im putting them into my hamper, I felt something in the back pocket. My chapstick was there.
Some explanations for this happening is poltergeists or spirits trying to get your attention or mess with you. Now, its important to remember that its very possible some people can just overlook something and spot it later on. But these items above, simply vanished into thin air, only to reappear later. There is another theory that this may occur because of dimensions overlapping, or dimensional shifting. What are your thoughts on this phenomena? Any personal experiences? As always, please feel free to share in the comments below and leave any questions you may have!

Understanding Empaths
Through talking to people and reading people through various platforms, Ive come to the conclusion that many people do not understand what a true Empath is and often confuse it for just being overly/highly sensitive or over emotional.
Empath : Someone with a paranormal ability to apprehend someone elses mental, emotional, or physical pain or feelings.
To help you better understand what a true Empath is, below, I will list some of the more specific traits of one.
1. A true Empath, when in crowds or in public, can become overwhelmed and pick up the energy of many if not all of the people around. Places like shopping malls, concerts, amusement parks, etc can be overwhelming for Empaths. It is important for them to ground themselves and block out the emotions of others during these times.
2. Feeling others emotions or psychical pain as your own. Some Empaths, those very in tune with their ability, may be able to tell when someone is having bad thoughts about them.
3. Watching violence or cruelty towards people and especially animals in unbearable and effects the true empath deeply. Sometimes bringing them into a panic attack or crying fit.
4. Picking up on psychical ailments and pain of others. Example, if someone close to you (usually) is having pain in their chest, arm or back. The Empath will feel the same pain. This happens quite often with me and my partner, Whenever she has a headache, or pain, I get the same pain, even when we arent in the same room or even in the same state.
5. Constant/almost constant fatigue. You may feel drained of energy or motivation quite often. A tiredness that even 12 hours of sleep wont fix. (Make sure to rule out any medical conditions that have these symptoms)
6. Empaths are often extremely creative and will take part in many creative outlets such as singing, dancing, art, drawing etc.
7. Empaths HATE clutter and need things to be clean and neat, the way they want it. If their space is dirty or cluttered they feel anxious and clouded, it blocks their energy flow.
8. Will not buy things that are antique or second hand. If they do, it must be fully cleansed. As items like that can carry the previous owners energy.
9. Empaths can sometimes appear cold, aloof, miserable or distant depending on what energy they are picking up. This doesnt mean they are miserable or upset, it just means they are feeling a lot of different energy and cant process it all at once. Moods may shift easily. (Rule out disorders like BPD, MPD, Bipolar and rule out depression)
